Pricing & billing
Pozy charges per connected account per month on a graduated ladder, with the first two free, plus usage-based items such as messages, ads, X calls, numbers and calls.
You pay for connected accounts, not for seats, profiles, posts or API calls. The first two accounts are free and need no card. Usage that costs Pozy money per unit, such as X API calls, SMS and phone numbers, is metered on the same monthly invoice.
#Connected accounts
Each account is priced by where it falls in your workspace's total count. The rates are graduated, like tax brackets: accounts 3 to 10 cost $6 each, the next band $3, and so on, no matter how many you have.
| Connected accounts in the workspace | Price per account per month |
|---|---|
| 1 to 2 | Free |
| 3 to 10 | $6 |
| 11 to 100 | $3 |
| 101 and up | $1 |
There are no plans to pick and no caps on posts, profiles, team members or API calls beyond the rate limits.
#Worked examples
| Accounts connected all month | Calculation | Monthly total |
|---|---|---|
| 2 | Free | $0 |
| 3 | 1 × $6 | $6 |
| 10 | 8 × $6 | $48 |
| 12 | 8 × $6 + 2 × $3 | $54 |
| 20 | 8 × $6 + 10 × $3 | $78 |
| 100 | 8 × $6 + 90 × $3 | $318 |
| 170 | 8 × $6 + 90 × $3 + 70 × $1 | $388 |
The free tier is applied as a monthly credit of $12 (two accounts at the first band's rate) against the connected-accounts line. It never goes below zero and never applies to usage items.
#What counts as a connected account
- An account counts while it is connected, including while it needs a reconnect. It stops counting once you disconnect it.
- Each connection counts once, whatever the platform: an Instagram account, a LinkedIn page, a WhatsApp number, a Meta ad account and a Shopify store are one account each.
- Profiles never count. Empty profiles are free, so create one per customer up front if that is simpler.
- Counts are workspace-wide. Accounts in all your profiles add up on one ladder, which is why a platform with many customers pays a lower average rate.
#Billing by the day
Accounts are billed for the days they are connected. Pozy records one account-day for each UTC day an account is connected, divides the month's total by 30, and runs that through the ladder. Day 31 of a long month is never counted.
So an account connected for half the month costs half. If you have 10 accounts all month and connect an 11th on day 16, it adds 15 days, or half an account at the $3 rate: the month comes to $48 + $1.50 = $49.50.
#Usage-based items
These are metered as you use them and appear as separate lines on the same invoice:
| What | Price |
|---|---|
| Outbound messages (inbox replies, broadcasts, sequences; not X DMs or SMS) | First 10,000 each month free, then $1 per 10,000 |
| Managed ads (running or in review) | First 500 free, then $0.01 per active ad per month |
| X post | $0.015 per post |
| X post containing a link | $0.20 per post |
| X reads (analytics, lookups) | $0.005 per resource |
| X DMs | $0.01 per DM read, $0.015 per DM sent |
| Phone numbers | From $3 per number per month, by country |
| Calls | From $0.01 per minute by destination. Recording $0.004 per minute, transcription $0.03 per minute |
| Branded calling | $0.10 per branded call |
| SMS | From $0.008 per segment by destination |
| US 10DLC registration | $9 one-time brand fee, then $20 per month per campaign ($4 for a sole proprietor) |
| RCS agent | $150 setup, then $160 per month in the US or $75 elsewhere, plus $750 on US carrier approval |
| Creator payouts | 4% of each transfer, minimum $0.50 |
| Support assistant | At cost per answered question, capped at $100 per month |
Phone numbers, calls, SMS and RCS vary by country and number type. The exact amount for each item is recorded on it when it happens, and GET /v1/usage breaks the period down by product (usage).
#X is billed per call
X charges for every API call, from the first one, so Pozy bills X usage per call at the rates on the pricing page. A post that contains a link costs more than one without. Because of this, connecting an X account needs a payment method even inside the free tier. You can set a monthly X spend cap in Billing: at the cap, X posts and other billable X calls pause until the 1st or until you raise it (billing).
GET /v1/billing/x-pricing returns the current X price table, including which endpoints trigger each charge.
#Free tier
- Two connected accounts (any platforms except X), no card needed.
- Every feature of the API, dashboard and MCP server.
- 30 API requests per minute. Adding a payment method raises it to 120.
- One workspace without a payment method per person. To create another workspace, add a card to it.
Connecting a third account, or a first X account, without a card returns 402 with code: "payment_required" and a link to add one (billing).
#Enterprise
Above 2,000 accounts the rate stays $1 per account, self-serve, and the rate limit rises to 300 requests per minute. For a contract, invoicing terms or a higher limit, write to support@pozy.ai.
#Estimate your bill
- Count the accounts you expect at the end of the month and read the total from the ladder above.
- Add usage: outbound messages past 10,000, X calls, ads past 500, numbers, calls and texts.
- Check the live figure any time with
GET /v1/billing, which returns what has accrued this period and a projection to the end of the month.
